Dear Parents and Students,
We are excited to announce our March Reading Challenge for all K–5 classrooms! Reading is one of the most important skills our students can develop. It strengthens vocabulary, builds comprehension, increases confidence, and helps children grow into strong, independent learners. Most importantly, it creates meaningful time for families to read and grow together. Read 'more' for challenge details. 

By participating in Kids Heart Challenge, our students will learn how to keep their hearts, bodies and brains healthy while helping kids with special hearts live longer, healthier lives. It's a fun and meaningful way for our students to learn lifelong habits of health and helping others, while supporting and earning rewards for our school. Join us in spreading kindness, building healthy habits, and making a lasting difference. Together, we can create a healthier future, one heart at a time.

This Saturday is our Island City Academy PTO’s Silent Auction at 6:00-8:00 PM. Check out this list of amazing items that will be up for auction. We hope to see you there! It is sure to be a great time!

Please sign up for the upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences! They will be held on two days - Thursday, October 2nd at 1:15 pm - 6:00 pm, and Friday, October 3rd at 1:15 pm - 3:00 pm. Teachers in Kindergarten through 4th grade will hold their Conferences in their classrooms and all other staff will be in the gym. Hope to see you there!
