After six years of teaching first grade I am starting a new adventure in third grade this fall! I'm looking for a little help from those that are able to help provide for my new third grade classroom. All donations are appreciated and will be put towards some really neat and beneficial curriculum aids that other amazing teachers have taken the time to make and share.

Our Mission
The mission of Island City Academy is to improve pupil achievement through a shared vision between talented teachers, parents, and students whose primary goal is academic excellence coupled with moral standards and expectations.
We believe we can achieve this goal by providing the best curriculum in seven "core" subjects of: mathematics, science, history, geography, foreign language, language arts, fine arts, along with moral education accomplished through standards of conduct and curriculum.

About ICA
Island City Academy is located in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. ICA is a Kindergarten - 8th grade, tuition-free, public school open to any student residing in the state of Michigan. We offer a tuition-based Pre-K program as well. ICA currently has 225 students with an average class size of 24.
The academy program is designed to provide the best curriculum in eight core subjects of: mathematics, science, history, geography, foreign language, language arts, fine arts, and physical education, coupled with moral standards and expectations. ICA is currently in the 81st percentile in Michigan's Top-to-Bottom ranking.
