Summer Camp Sign Up

ICA is offering a weekly summer camp for 2025. The Camp is limited to current ICA Students 12 and younger. We will have themes each week and will update once we have an idea of the number of campers. Camp is 9 am - 3 pm M - F, and costs $125. If you need before or after care, the cost is $150 per week. If you have more than one student to sign-up, please submit multiple forms.

The mission of Island City Academy is to improve pupil achievement through a shared vision between talented teachers, parents, and students whose primary goal is academic excellence coupled with moral standards and expectations.

We believe we can achieve this goal by providing the best curriculum in seven "core" subjects of: mathematics, science, history, geography, foreign language, language arts, fine arts, along with moral education accomplished through standards of conduct and curriculum.

About ICA

Island City Academy is located in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. ICA is a Kindergarten - 8th grade, tuition-free, public school open to any student residing in the state of Michigan. ICA currently has 210 students with an average class size of 24.

The academy program is designed to provide the best curriculum in eight core subjects of: mathematics, science, history, geography, language arts, fine arts, and physical education, coupled with moral standards and expectations. ICA is currently in the 81st percentile in Michigan's Top-to-Bottom ranking.

Weather Policy

As the weather is changing just a reminder that we will be outside any time it's not raining, and the real feel is 15 or above. So please ensure your student(s) comes to school with the appropriate gear to be outside for 20 minutes of recess, and 15 minutes during dismissal time.

Here is our guideline for being outdoors at school:

  • 55 degrees or above - short sleeves are ok
  • 45 - 54 - long sleeves, sweater, or sweatshirt required 
  • 44 or below - winter coat
  • Below 15 degrees - Indoor recess
